येषामर्थे काङ्क्षितं नो राज्यं भोगाः सुखानि च।त इमेऽवस्थिता युद्धे प्राणांस्त्यक्त्वा धनानि च ॥1.33॥yeṣāmarthe kāṅkṣitaṃ no rājyaṃ bhogāḥ sukhāni cata ime'vasthitā yuddhe prāṇāṃstyaktvā dhanāni ca
Meaning
“The very people for whose sake we wanted kingdom, enjoyment and happiness stand here in battle, ready to give up their lives and wealth.”

“जिनके लिए हम राज्य, भोग और सुख चाहते थे, वही लोग अपने प्राण और धन की परवाह छोड़कर यहाँ युद्ध में खड़े हैं।”
