Sanjaya said

अस्माकं तु विशिष्टा ये तान्निबोध द्विजोत्तम।नायका मम सैन्यस्य संज्ञार्थं तान्ब्रवीमि ते ॥1.7॥

asmākaṃ tu viśiṣṭā ye tānnibodha dvijottamanāyakā mama sainyasya saṃjñārthaṃ tānbravīmi te

Meaning

“And now, best of the twice-born (a respectful title for Drona as a learned Brahmin), know the finest leaders on our own side. I name them so you know who commands my army.”

हिंदी में अर्थ

“हे ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ, अब हमारी ओर के प्रमुख योद्धाओं को भी जान लीजिए; आपकी जानकारी के लिए मैं अपनी सेना के नायकों के नाम बताता हूँ।”
