सत्त्वं सुखे सञ्जयति रजः कर्मणि भारत।ज्ञानमावृत्य तु तमः प्रमादे सञ्जयत्युत ॥14.9॥sattvaṃ sukhe sañjayati rajaḥ karmaṇi bhāratajñānamāvṛtya tu tamaḥ pramāde sañjayatyuta
Meaning
Sattva attaches a person to happiness, rajas to action, while tamas covers up understanding and attaches one to carelessness.

सत्त्व मनुष्य को सुख से जोड़ता है, रजस कर्म से, और तमस समझ को ढककर लापरवाही से जोड़ देता है।
