adhiṣṭhānaṃ tathā kartā karaṇaṃ ca pṛthagvidhamvividhāśca pṛthakceṣṭā daivaṃ caivātra pañcamam

Meaning

The five are: the body as the seat of action, the doer, the various instruments (senses), the many different efforts, and fifth, the unseen power often called fate or the divine.

Practise it today

When something does not go your way today, check all five: your body, yourself, your tools, your effort, and what was beyond your control.

Reflect tonight

What part of today's outcome was truly beyond your control? Did seeing that ease you?
