Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 18, Verse 16

Krishna said

तत्रैवं सति कर्तारमात्मानं केवलं तु यः।पश्यत्यकृतबुद्धित्वान्न स पश्यति दुर्मतिः ॥18.16॥

tatraivaṃ sati kartāramātmānaṃ kevalaṃ tu yaḥpaśyatyakṛtabuddhitvānna sa paśyati durmatiḥ

Meaning

This being so, the person of untrained understanding who sees themselves as the only doer does not see truly; their thinking is distorted.

हिंदी में अर्थ

ऐसा होने पर भी जो अपरिपक्व बुद्धि वाला व्यक्ति खुद को ही एकमात्र कर्ता मानता है, वह सही नहीं देखता; उसकी समझ उलटी है।

When you feel proud or guilty about something today, remind yourself it had many causes, then thank or forgive accordingly.
