Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 21

Krishna said

वेदाविनाशिनं नित्यं य एनमजमव्ययम्।कथं स पुरुषः पार्थ कं घातयति हन्ति कम् ॥2.21॥

vedāvināśinaṃ nityaṃ ya enamajamavyayamkathaṃ sa puruṣaḥ pārtha kaṃ ghātayati hanti kam

Meaning

Krishna asks: Arjuna, how can a person who knows the self to be indestructible, eternal, unborn and unchanging kill anyone, or cause anyone to be killed?

श्रीकृष्ण पूछते हैं: हे पार्थ, जो व्यक्ति आत्मा को अविनाशी, नित्य, अजन्मा और अपरिवर्तनशील जानता है, वह किसे मार सकता है या किसी को मरवा सकता है?

Practise it today

Before a difficult duty today, remind yourself that you are acting as an instrument of what is right, not out of personal grudge. Then do it cleanly.
