Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 5
2.5॥gurūnahatvā hi mahānubhāvān śreyo bhoktuṃ bhaikṣyamapīha lokehatvārthakāmāṃstu gurūnihaiva bhuñjīya bhogān rudhirapradigdhān
Meaning
Arjuna says it would be better to live by begging in this world than to kill these great-hearted teachers. Even if they are driven by desire for gain, killing them would mean enjoying pleasures stained with their blood.

Before chasing one gain today, ask: who might be hurt by how I get this? Adjust one choice so no one pays the price for your win.
Did you weigh the cost to others before pursuing something today? What did you notice?
