Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 1

Arjuna said

ज्यायसी चेत्कर्मणस्ते मता बुद्धिर्जनार्दन।तत्किं कर्मणि घोरे मां नियोजयसि केशव ॥3.1॥

jyāyasī cetkarmaṇaste matā buddhirjanārdanatatkiṃ karmaṇi ghore māṃ niyojayasi keśava

Meaning

Arjuna asks Krishna: "If you hold that understanding is better than action, then why do you push me into this terrible deed?"

हिंदी में अर्थ

अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण से पूछते हैं: "अगर आप मानते हैं कि समझ (बुद्धि) कर्म से श्रेष्ठ है, तो फिर आप मुझे इस भयानक कर्म में क्यों लगा रहे हैं?"
