Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 28

Krishna said

द्रव्ययज्ञास्तपोयज्ञा योगयज्ञास्तथापरे।स्वाध्यायज्ञानयज्ञाश्च यतयः संशितव्रताः ॥4.28॥

dravyayajñāstapoyajñā yogayajñāstathāparesvādhyāyajñānayajñāśca yatayaḥ saṃśitavratāḥ

Meaning

Some offer wealth as their sacrifice, some austerity, some the practice of yoga. Others, striving with firm vows, offer study of scripture and knowledge.

कुछ लोग धन का दान यज्ञ के रूप में करते हैं, कुछ तप को, कुछ योग-साधना को। दूसरे दृढ़ संकल्प वाले साधक स्वाध्याय और ज्ञान को यज्ञ बनाते हैं।
