tatraikāgraṃ manaḥ kṛtvā yatacittendriyakriyaḥupaviśyāsane yuñjyādyogamātmaviśuddhaye

Meaning

Sitting on that seat, making the mind one-pointed and keeping thoughts, senses and actions under control, one should practise yoga to purify oneself.

Practise it today

Sit in your quiet spot for five minutes and gently bring your attention back to one point, such as the breath, each time it wanders. Count how often you return.

Reflect tonight

How many times did your mind wander in those five minutes? Did returning get any easier?
