Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 8

Krishna said

jñānavijñānatṛptātmā kūṭastho vijitendriyaḥyukta ityucyate yogī samaloṣṭāśmakāñcanaḥ

Meaning

The yogi who is content with knowledge and lived understanding, unshaken, in control of the senses, and who sees a lump of earth, a stone and gold as equal, is called steady in yoga.

Practise it today

Before buying or wishing for something today, ask: "Will this matter to me in a year?" Let that answer, not the excitement, guide you.

Reflect tonight

Did asking the one-year question change any choice today? What did you feel content with without buying anything?
