Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 7, Verse 5

Krishna said

अपरेयमितस्त्वन्यां प्रकृतिं विद्धि मे पराम्।जीवभूतां महाबाहो ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ॥7.5॥

apareyamitastvanyāṃ prakṛtiṃ viddhi me parāmjīvabhūtāṃ mahābāho yayedaṃ dhāryate jagat

Meaning

That eightfold nature is the lower one. Krishna says he has another, higher nature: the living conscious principle (jiva) that holds up and sustains this whole world.

हिंदी में अर्थ

वह आठ भागों वाली प्रकृति निचली है। कृष्ण कहते हैं कि इससे अलग मेरी एक ऊँची प्रकृति भी है, वह चेतन जीव-तत्व, जिससे यह पूरा संसार टिका हुआ है।
