Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8, Verse 17

Krishna said

सहस्रयुगपर्यन्तमहर्यद्ब्रह्मणो विदुः।रात्रिं युगसहस्रान्तां तेऽहोरात्रविदो जनाः ॥8.17॥

sahasrayugaparyantamaharyadbrahmaṇo viduḥrātriṃ yugasahasrāntāṃ te'horātravido janāḥ

Meaning

Those who understand that a single day of Brahma lasts a thousand ages, and his night also lasts a thousand ages, truly know what day and night are.

जो लोग जानते हैं कि ब्रह्मा का एक दिन हज़ार युगों का होता है और उनकी रात भी हज़ार युगों की होती है, वही दिन और रात के सच्चे तत्त्व को जानते हैं।
