Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8, Verse 19

Krishna said

भूतग्रामः स एवायं भूत्वा भूत्वा प्रलीयते।रात्र्यागमेऽवशः पार्थ प्रभवत्यहरागमे ॥8.19॥

bhūtagrāmaḥ sa evāyaṃ bhūtvā bhūtvā pralīyaterātryāgame'vaśaḥ pārtha prabhavatyaharāgame

Meaning

This same multitude of beings comes into existence again and again, and helplessly dissolves when night falls, Arjuna, only to arise again when day dawns.

हे पार्थ, यही प्राणियों का समूह बार-बार उत्पन्न होता है, रात आने पर विवश होकर लीन हो जाता है, और दिन आने पर फिर से उत्पन्न होता है।
