Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8, Verse 21

Krishna said

अव्यक्तोऽक्षर इत्युक्तस्तमाहुः परमां गतिम्।यं प्राप्य न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम ॥8.21॥

avyakto'kṣara ityuktastamāhuḥ paramāṃ gatimyaṃ prāpya na nivartante taddhāma paramaṃ mama

Meaning

That unmanifest is called the imperishable, and it is declared the highest goal. Those who reach it do not return. That is my supreme abode.

उसी अव्यक्त को अक्षर (अविनाशी) कहा गया है और उसे ही परम गति बताया गया है। जिसे पाकर कोई लौटता नहीं, वही मेरा परम धाम है।
