Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 1, Verse 44

Arjuna said

उत्सन्नकुलधर्माणां मनुष्याणां जनार्दन।नरकेऽनियतं वासो भवतीत्यनुशुश्रुम ॥1.44॥

utsannakuladharmāṇāṃ manuṣyāṇāṃ janārdananarake'niyataṃ vāso bhavatītyanuśuśruma

Meaning

“Janardana, we have heard that people whose family duties are destroyed must live in hell for a long, uncertain time.”

हिंदी में अर्थ

“हे जनार्दन, हमने सुना है कि जिन लोगों के कुल-धर्म नष्ट हो जाते हैं, उन्हें अनिश्चित समय तक नरक में रहना पड़ता है।”
