ममैवांशो जीवलोके जीवभूतः सनातनः।मनःषष्ठानीन्द्रियाणि प्रकृतिस्थानि कर्षति ॥15.7॥mamaivāṃśo jīvaloke jīvabhūtaḥ sanātanaḥmanaḥṣaṣṭhānīndriyāṇi prakṛtisthāni karṣati
Meaning
A part of me, eternal, becomes the individual soul in the world of living beings. It draws to itself the five senses and the mind as the sixth, which rest in nature.

मेरा ही एक सनातन अंश इस जीव-लोक में जीवात्मा बनता है। वह प्रकृति में रहने वाली पाँच इंद्रियों और छठे मन को अपनी ओर खींचता है।
