Meaning
Steadfastness in sacrifice, austerity and charity is also called 'Sat', and any action done for that purpose is called 'Sat' as well.

यज्ञ, तप और दान में दृढ़ता से टिके रहना भी 'सत्' कहलाता है, और इन्हीं के लिए किया गया हर कर्म भी 'सत्' ही कहलाता है।
