Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 69

Krishna said

या निशा सर्वभूतानां तस्यां जागर्ति संयमी।यस्यां जाग्रति भूतानि सा निशा पश्यतो मुनेः ॥2.69॥

yā niśā sarvabhūtānāṃ tasyāṃ jāgarti saṃyamīyasyāṃ jāgrati bhūtāni sā niśā paśyato muneḥ

Meaning

Krishna says: what is night for all beings is where the self-controlled person stays awake; and what the world is awake to is night for the sage who truly sees.

हिंदी में अर्थ

श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं: जो सब प्राणियों के लिए रात है, उसमें संयमी व्यक्ति जागता है; और जिसमें सारे प्राणी जागते हैं, वह सच देखने वाले मुनि के लिए रात है।
