Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 12

Krishna said

इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविताः।तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव सः ॥3.12॥

iṣṭānbhogānhi vo devā dāsyante yajñabhāvitāḥtairdattānapradāyaibhyo yo bhuṅkte stena eva saḥ

Meaning

"Pleased by your offerings, the devas will give you the good things you desire. But one who enjoys their gifts without giving anything back is simply a thief."

हिंदी में अर्थ

"यज्ञ से प्रसन्न होकर देवता तुम्हें मनचाहे भोग देंगे। पर जो उनके दिए हुए को बिना कुछ लौटाए भोगता है, वह तो चोर ही है।"

Practise it today

Before each meal today, pause for a few seconds and name who made it possible: farmers, cooks, family. Say thank you to one of them.
