Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 15

Krishna said

karma brahmodbhavaṃ viddhi brahmākṣarasamudbhavamtasmātsarvagataṃ brahma nityaṃ yajñe pratiṣṭhitam

Meaning

Know that action arises from the Veda (sacred knowledge), and the Veda comes from the Imperishable. So the all-pervading Brahman (ultimate reality) is always present in yajna.

Practise it today

Pick one ordinary task today, cooking, cleaning or answering emails, and do it as if it were sacred, slowly and with respect.

Reflect tonight

Did treating an ordinary task as sacred change your attitude towards it?
