Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 41

Krishna said

तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ।पाप्मानं प्रजहि ह्येनं ज्ञानविज्ञाननाशनम् ॥3.41॥

tasmāttvamindriyāṇyādau niyamya bharatarṣabhapāpmānaṃ prajahi hyenaṃ jñānavijñānanāśanam

Meaning

Therefore, best of the Bharatas, first bring your senses under control, and then destroy this harmful force that ruins both knowledge and realisation.
