Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 9
3.9॥yajñārthātkarmaṇo'nyatra loko'yaṃ karmabandhanaḥtadarthaṃ karma kaunteya muktasaṃgaḥ samācara
Meaning
Work binds people in this world unless it is done as yajna (an offering for a higher purpose). So, son of Kunti, do your work as such an offering, free from attachment.
Practise it today
Before starting your main work today, say quietly whom it serves beyond you, a family, a customer, a classmate, and keep them in mind as you work.
Reflect tonight
Did working for someone beyond yourself change how the work felt today?
