Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 8

Krishna said

नियतं कुरु कर्म त्वं कर्म ज्यायो ह्यकर्मणः।शरीरयात्रापि च ते न प्रसिद्ध्येदकर्मणः ॥3.8॥

niyataṃ kuru karma tvaṃ karma jyāyo hyakarmaṇaḥśarīrayātrāpi ca te na prasiddhyedakarmaṇaḥ

Meaning

Do the work that is yours to do, for action is better than inaction. Without action you could not even keep your body going.

हिंदी में अर्थ

जो काम तुम्हारे ज़िम्मे है, उसे करो, क्योंकि कर्म करना कर्म न करने से अच्छा है। बिना कर्म के तो शरीर का निर्वाह भी नहीं हो सकता।
