Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 12

Krishna said

काङ्क्षन्तः कर्मणां सिद्धिं यजन्त इह देवताः।क्षिप्रं हि मानुषे लोके सिद्धिर्भवति कर्मजा ॥4.12॥

kāṅkṣantaḥ karmaṇāṃ siddhiṃ yajanta iha devatāḥkṣipraṃ hi mānuṣe loke siddhirbhavati karmajā

Meaning

People who want success in their work worship the gods (devatas) here, because in the human world results born of action come quickly.

जो लोग अपने कामों में सफलता चाहते हैं, वे यहाँ देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं, क्योंकि मनुष्य-लोक में कर्म से मिलने वाला फल जल्दी मिल जाता है।
