Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 14

Krishna said

praśāntātmā vigatabhīrbrahmacārivrate sthitaḥmanaḥ saṃyamya maccitto yukta āsīta matparaḥ

Meaning

Calm, free of fear, firm in the vow of self-restraint, controlling the mind, one should sit absorbed in Me, with Me as the highest goal.

Practise it today

Before your quiet sitting today, name one fear on your mind, set it down mentally, and spend the time remembering what matters most to you.

Reflect tonight

What fear did you set down today? Did keeping your highest goal in mind make you calmer?
