Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8, Verse 24

Krishna said

अग्निर्ज्योतिरहः शुक्लः षण्मासा उत्तरायणम्।तत्र प्रयाता गच्छन्ति ब्रह्म ब्रह्मविदो जनाः ॥8.24॥

agnirjyotirahaḥ śuklaḥ ṣaṇmāsā uttarāyaṇamtatra prayātā gacchanti brahma brahmavido janāḥ

Meaning

Fire, light, daytime, the bright half of the lunar month, and the six months of the sun's northern course: those who know Brahman and depart by this path go to Brahman.
